Got the cards in the mail. My online case status says the application is still pending.
Folks (those whose PDs are current this month),
Check with your attorney, in your mail boxes along with the online USCIS case status. You may get the good news in your mail box or from your attorney's office before your status is updated online.
This is what my attorney had to say:
The USCIS online status system is maintained by contract workers and is often inaccurate.
My Online status got updated today. Snail mail is faster than email - happens only with USCIS. Anyways, my journey is over. Good luck to others.

I second this. In fact I would say if you are ROW-EB3, see how you can find a job that allows you to file your GC in EB2. Even if you dont like the job. You will need to stick to it maybe an year or two and then you'll have your GC and will be all set!

I'll definitely research my 'fitting' options as an EB-2.... now, do you know if are there hidden issues on getting a GC as an EB-2 rather than an EB-3? Or, Is a GC the same regardless the employment-based category?

My I140 filed in EB3 was denied yesterday for not having Mathematics as majors.
RFE was according to ETA 750 client accepts 3 years foreign degree please provide your transcripts to prove you have taken courses in maths, we though this was a simple query.
But I have Maths as major subject in my 3 year degree, we sent Letter signed by Registrar of Osmania University India on Math syllabus for my Degree and educational evaluation saying that Math is equivalent to maths in US Bachelors degree and also the transcripts with math highlighted.
But surprised to see this denial letter.
My attorney is confident that we would win the case if we appeal against the decision
what are my alternatives now and how long is it taking now to process this appeal.

I filed 140 to VSC. Would it be transfered to TSC. It is still pending. I got a RFE on 140. Should i send the docs to VSC or TSC. Can anyone please answer this.

To avoid being like the thread running a few days ago, I don't want to be responding to each response. However, I do want clear a few things:
I am not promoting one parenting technique over the other.
As I said, I agree with a few things and disagree with a few things the author talks about.
Having kids myself, I cannot think of a parent who would do harm to their own child. Each set of parents come with their own parenting skills that works for them and their children. I leave it at that.
I only posted this because my doc asked me of my opinion and I in turn asked the opinion of IV members. If this thread is going to turn ugly, lets stop it, that was not my intention.

Can you please elaborate on your experience. This is an issue very close to my heart as well and possibly benefit lots of other folks on this forum.
I personally know a fried who in fact benefited from PD porting and got his GC sometime in 2007 beginning. He had a EB3 PD of 2001 which he used for his EB2 application with another employer.

Atleast you can expect some good news in the World Cup on July 9th. Hope to see Cafu lift Brazil's 6th Cup.

I'm in Chicago and will like to move to Atlanta area....Do you guys know how is the IT market (Architect, .NET) doing in this area? Looking at dice and computerjobs, i do see the same jobs getting repeated...Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated..
I lived in Atlanta for 4 years. The job market is just OK there. Not quite sure your reason for the move from Chicago, but if you are looking for weather and job prospects then, Dallas, TX could be a better choice. I maybe wrong but based on what I see - there seem to be more opportunities in the metroplex area

you are right, but isnt that found only when you are travelling outside of the USA? If I am in USA till i get a gc and then add my wife, how will anyone know if she is out of status ?
